Our mission

Give every veterinary practice — from a solo practitioner to a multi-vet animal hospital — software that keeps up with the exam room instead of slowing it down.

A clinic's day is measured in minutes. A patient is waiting, the phone is ringing, and the record from the last visit needs to be on screen right now. Software that asks for five extra clicks in that moment is not a small annoyance — it is time taken away from the animal on the table. So that is the yardstick we hold our own work to.

Our story

Veterian started in 2018, after we spent time watching how clinics actually work. The pattern was the same almost everywhere: paper files for history, a spreadsheet for stock, a separate program for invoices, a phone for reminders. The same patient was entered three times into three places, and none of them agreed with each other. Nobody had chosen that setup — it simply accumulated.

So we started with the loop that repeats most: exam, treatment, prescription, invoice. In Veterian that became three steps on a single screen — pick the treatment, write the prescription, and the invoice is created automatically, with e-invoice, e-archive and e-SMM documents ready in one click and payment taken by cash, card or transfer without leaving the visit.

Everything we have added since has had to pass the same test. Automatic vaccination and appointment reminders, because a forgotten vaccine is both a health gap and lost revenue. A mobile app for pet owners, so the front desk is not the only way to check an appointment. Real-time stock tracking, so nobody counts boxes at the end of the month. Voice dictation that turns exam notes into SOAP format, so the record is written while the patient is still in the room.

What we build

Veterian is one platform rather than a bundle of separate tools. The client record, the calendar, the stock ledger and the invoice all talk to each other, which is why a treatment can deduct stock and produce an invoice at the same moment.

Who we build it for

A vet working alone and a hospital with three exam rooms have very different days, so we do not pretend one configuration fits both.

How we work

Security and privacy

Clinics trust us with medical records and client information, which is an obligation before it is a feature list.

• Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and backed up regularly.
• Hosted on established cloud infrastructure (AWS and DigitalOcean) with Cloudflare in front for protection and performance.
• GDPR compliant. For the records your clinic enters, your clinic is the data controller and Veterian only processes them on your instructions.
• You can export your data at any time, and for 30 days after an account is closed.
• Platform availability is published at status.veterian.com.

Getting started

You can try Veterian free for 14 days without a credit card. If you are coming from another clinic program, our team moves your patients, clients, vaccination history, balances and stock across for you — we analyse your export, map the fields, run the migration and verify it with you before you go live. That service is free, on every plan, and you can read how it works on the data migration page.
